The Cambridge Middle School Parent Teacher Organization is hosting a community garage sale on August 19.  Whether you have items to sell or just want to come and shop, this will be the place to be!  Check out our flyer and registration form or look through the FAQ below.

How does it work?

You can avoid the hassle of having your own garage sale.  Simply follow the registration process to reserve a space at the CMS PTO Garage Sale for a nominal fee.  The PTO will have tables available and will aid in advertising; you get to keep all proceeds from what you sell during the garage sale.

What makes this garage sale different?

Our intended focus is middle school items: clothing, skateboards, bicycles, et cetera.  Our hope is that families will find this a great way to save on back to school costs.

When and where?

  • The Garage Sale is Saturday, August 19 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
  • CMS Doors will open at 7:00 AM to allow sellers time to setup their space.
  • Registration for space begins on June 9.
  • Cambridge Middle School is located at 31374 Xylite St. NE,  Cambridge, MN 55008

How much does it cost?

Sellers can reserve spaces that measure approximately 10' x 14'.  Each space costs $20 and must be reserved in advance.  There are no refunds for no-shows.

What items are allowed (or not)?

Our intent is a middle school age focus (e.g. clothing, backpacks, bicycles).  But if you have items for other age ranges that's just fine.

  • Items must be of a size that they can be carried into and out of the school safely without damaging or marking the floors or walls.
  • No weapons are allowed.
  • All items must be removed at the end of the sale.  School trash dumpsters will not be available for use.

Can I chose my location?

Registration for spaces begins on June 9.  Spaces and tables will be marked out at the middle school on August 19 and available on a first come first serve basis beginning when the doors open at 7:00 AM.  Arrive early for the best spots.

Can I bring my own table?

Yes.  When registering you can identify if you want to use one of our tables or want to bring your own.  Tables are cafeteria style with seats (approx. 6' x 10') and changing to classroom style tables once those are gone.  Tables do not cost anything additional and will be available on a first come first served basis on August 19 to those that registered in advanced.

How do I register for a space?

You can print and mail the registration form or fill out the online registration.  While you can register online, we cannot accept online payments and so checks must still be mailed in advanced to complete your reservation.
